After two months working in the mountain Picu Urriellu, in the Heart of the Picos de Europa (Asturias, north of Spain), Iker and Eneko Pou finished their most complicated project to date. Orbayu route, proposed as a 8c+/9a difficulty, is arguably the world's hardest multiple route in big walls.

In December 2008, Alexander and Thomas Huber, better known as the "Huberbuam", managed a first ascent of the Holtanna West Face, the most difficult face in the Antarctica.
