Helmet-cam footage from a solo ascent of Aguja Guillaumet, Argentine Patagonia, via the Amy Route. The climb took approximately 2 hours from bergshrund to summit, but the descent much longer, due to an unplanned rescue of a stranded climber.
Ice climbing in the Ghost Wilderness Area of the Canadian Rockies. The use of a fisheye helmet cam gives an amazing feeling of exposure on the steep pitches. Watch out for the runout climbing above a distant screw.
A really good video of this rarely in condition route. Blue Riband is graded Scottish V,5 and situated on the south flank of the Aonach Eagach Ridge in Glencoe. A bonus of the route is that you get to traverse half of the Aonach Eagach on the descent. The route looks to be in fairly lean condition.
